National Children’s Science Congress
6 teams of TIGPS Balurghat in the state level and 2 teams in the National Level got selected in the 30th National Children’s Science Congress 2022.
CBSE National Science Exhibition 2022-23
Evan Bhattacharjee and Suhash Bose of Class VI, TIGPS Balurghat crossed the Zonal level of CBSE National Science Exhibition 2022-23, held in Haryana Vidya Mandir, Kolkata and then participated in the national level held in Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, Haryana on the topic “ Incorporating Automation in Hydroponics”.
Students Youth Science Fair
Four students from our school participated in the prestigious West Bengal State Student Youth Science Fair 2023-24, held at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on February 9-10, 2024. The fair, organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Government of West Bengal, showcased innovative projects from students across the state, addressing the theme "Science and Technology for Society."
Our students' achievements and their ability to compete at the state level, showcasing their potential as future leaders in science and technology. This experience will undoubtedly inspire them to continue pursuing their passions and making a positive impact on society through their scientific endeavors.
Sishu Kishore Utsav 2023
Balurghat High School hosted the Sishu Kishore Utsav 2023, a vibrant celebration that highlighted the talents and creativity of students. This year's event featured an engaging exhibition focused on hydroponics, where students from Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS) Balurghat also participated.The hydroponics exhibition showcased innovative methods of growing plants without soil, utilizing nutrient-rich water instead. This sustainable agricultural practice is gaining importance as it addresses space constraints and promotes efficient resource use.Students presented various hydroponic systems, demonstrating their understanding of modern farming techniques and their potential benefits for food security.By participating in Sishu Kishore Utsab, students from TIGPS Balurghat and Khadimpur Girls' High School contributed to a shared learning experience, celebrating both cultural heritage and scientific innovation.
